    Super professional event, venue is amazing, parking and access, MC and support staff (polecats, etc.) all engaging and professional, loved the businesses present during the intermission, this is probably my favourite of the comps.

    EPIC. Just completely and utterly took my breath (and voice) away. A great length show, loved how it was broken up with other performances. The space is beautiful and up on the mezzanine I could see all performances clearly.

    Love competing in this competition. I love having a platform that allows us to express ourselves sensually. The audience is always electric and the comp organizers run a tight ship, making it one of the best ran comps in Oz.

    Spirit of the Competition and Showmanship

    Frisk is a social pole dancing competition created to give amateur, semi-pro and professional pole dancers the opportunity to express themselves, perform on stage, explore their creativity, and most importantly—have fun! This event is designed to celebrate individuality, artistry, and the vibrant community that surrounds pole dancing. We ask all competitors to enter Frisk with this spirit in mind. We value kindness, respect, and support—towards each other and towards yourselves. Please note that the judges’ decision is final. Any behaviour—before or during the event—that disrespects fellow competitors, the judges, or the competition itself may impact your ability to participate in future Frisk events. We are committed to fostering a positive and inclusive environment, and unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated. If your routine includes themes or content that could be emotionally triggering for an audience, we ask that you notify the organisers ahead of time. This allows us to assess whether a content warning is necessary to ensure the safety and comfort of all attendees. Let’s keep Frisk a space where everyone feels seen, celebrated, and empowered.

    Video Judging

    Videos will be judged by Charlie Love and Kennetta Hutchens for Frisk 2026

    Charlie is no stranger to the stage! His Frisk routine this year doesn't just live in our heads rent-free but also won him 2nd Runner-Up. Not to mention he's the Mr Pole Dance champion of 2024 and co-host of The Whole 8 Inches podcast. His unique style has made him one of Australia's favourite polers, and we're so excited to have him on board to help us judge entries.

    Kennetta is the founder of Pole & Aerial Divas and has been running Frisk since 2016. After running comps such as Miss Pole Dance Victoria and All Stars, Kennetta wanted to showcase Australia's most sensual pole dancers and thus Frisk was born.

    Judging Criteria
    • POLE COMBO (10 points) - Performance must include one outstanding pole combination that will be judged on level of difficulty, technique, and effortlessness.
    • BASE/FLOOR WORK/ACRO (10 points) - Technique, fluidity and level of difficulty
    • DANCE (10 points) - Commitment to a sensual style and expression, technique, musicality
    • CONCEPT (10 points) - How well the theme, storyline, music choices, character, use of props and costume all fit together to form an entertaining show
    • CHOREOGRAPHY & MUSICALITY (10 points) - Creative, original, and interesting choreography on and off the pole displaying a strong connection to the music
    • AUDIENCE CONNECTION, SENSUALITY & OVERALL FRISK FACTOR (10 points)
    Total: 60 points
    Music Costume Props and Grips

    Music

    • Show length for AMATEUR DIVISION is 3 minutes and OPEN DIVISION is 3.5 minutes
    • Music by the following artists cannot be used at Frisk or any Pole & Aerial Divas competitions as they have been convicted or accused of gender-based violence; Chris Brown, Diddy, R Kelly, Tory Lanez, Marilyn Manson

    Costume & Props

    • Any item(s) that are not attached to the performer for the entirety of the performance is considered a prop and must be included in your Production Form.  Any props larger than a chair will require approval. All props must be able to be put on and taken off the stage by 2 people within 30 seconds.
    • Maximum of 2 human props only. There is no limit on how long the human props are on stage. They can touch the pole, but not perform any movements where they have both feet off the ground while holding the pole. Eg: climb, mount, trick. The focus of using a human prop is that they add to your show without overshadowing you.
    • No nudity
    • Anything you wish to use that will leave a mess on the stage must be approved by the producers.  Eg: confetti, petals, fake money.  No large confetti canons will be approved, or glitter.
    • You are welcome to email us at comps@poledivas.com.au if you would like approval on a prop or other idea prior to creating your show and submitting your entry video
    Apparatus
    • 1 x 4m high rigged competition grade 40mm BRASS pole
    • Either spin or static - performers' choice
    Grips
    • Griptinite is supplied and can be applied to the poles at your request. Other chalk-based grips can be applied if supplied by you.
    • Banned grips include: iTac or any grip that leaves residue on the pole after cleaning with alcohol-based cleaner such as monkey grip.
    Eligibility Entries and Fees
    Frisk is an Australian Social Competition.
    Eligibility
    • Pole Dancers of any gender 18+ years of age. Frisk is an international compeition and open to pole dancers across the world.
    • You can perform in Frisk as a Solo, Double, or Trio act. Think of all the Frisky fun you can have?!?!
    • Trios - Please note, for safety only two people can be performing aerial tricks on the pole at one time
    • No separate division for doubles or trios. You are all judged together in the category of amateur or open
    • If someone in your group is a semi-pro or professional competitor you must enter the open division
    • You can still choose to perform solo and have up to 2 human props. This is different from performing in a group.
    • AMATEUR Division - if you have competed at a semi-professional or professional level, you are NOT eligible for our amateur division; please enter open. If you have competed in a Miss Pole Dance STATE HEAT and not placed, you MAY still be eligible for the amateur division. Please contact us directly to discuss.
    • OPEN Division - semi-pro & professional competitors
    • The organisers reserve the right to decide which division you will compete in according to your entry and competition history. This would be in consultation with you before announcing our finalists.
    Entries
    • AMATEUR & OPEN - can submit either the show they wish to perform on the night OR any performance that is in the exotic FRISK style
    • You may enter Frisk as a solo, double or trio. If entering as a double or a trio, your video entry must reflect the group you will be competing with
    • Video entries minimum 2min and a maximum 2.5min in length
    • Audition video cannot be more than 12 months old

    Pricing
    • Audition fee of $30
    • Finalist fee approximately - $40 per person. If you are competing as a double or a trio, each person must pay the finalist fee.
    • Professional video and photography package approximately - $75.00 AUD. If competing as a double or a trio, this is only paid once per group.
    Divisions

    FRISK is Australia's most seductive pole dancing competition, featuring incredible pole dancers in two smoking hot divisions: Amateur and Open (semi-pro/pro).

    You can perform in either division as a solo, double or trio act. All performers are judged together. There is not a seperate division for groups.
