Pole Divas Moonee Ponds is looking for a new instructor to join their teaching team.
This is an exciting opportunity to join Melbourne’s highest-profile group of studios and be a part of Team Divas!

Specifically for this current vacancy, we are looking for a "cover instructor".

What does this mean? This means we don't currently have a permanent shift available, and we are seeking someone who will be able to cover our existing team for planned leave and emergency cover. The ideal candidate for this role is someone with ample flexibility across weeknights and weekends. They must be comfortable taking a variety of classes, from teaching beginners to intermediate, various dance classes, stretch classes, and conditioning classes. This role is suitable for someone with previous teaching experience or someone who is an incredibly versatile student who feels confident in teaching a wide variety of classes (with training and support). Please don't hesitate to reach out and chat with us to understand this role further. On average, you will work 1 -2 shifts per week for the term.

What we are looking for:

  • Personality & dedication! Must have a friendly, fun, and supportive nature.
  • A strong understanding of human movement.
  • Dance and technique are more important to us than being at a high skill level. Divas warm-ups are done to music, and all classes include a dance element.
  • A pole instructor qualification is required or previous teaching experience
  • Must be available to work weeknight shifts and weekends.

What we offer you:

  • Community - You will be part of a strong team that is 100+ people strong
  • Team – the Moonee Ponds location has been established for 17 years and is a busy and vibing studio located in the heart of Moonee Ponds! Many of the instructors have 10+ years' experience teaching making them a wealth of knowledge to learn from.
  • Education – Divas instructors are offered free upskill training to teach different levels and genres of pole.
  • Professional growth – You may start with one or two classes, but the opportunity for growth is there for those who reach out and take it!
  • Support from studio management and our Director of Training & Education, Lou Landers.
  • Free classes and training space (when available) at all Divas locations, discounts on merchandise, and a team jacket!
