A massive part of our industry is our competition scene, whether you are just starting out or have been dancing for years, there are so many competitions and showcases you can look at being apart of. Please note, we have created this list ourselves and it may not include every competition in Victoria. Additionally, some comps may not run every year. Competitions fall into a few different categories; there are student level comps which have divisions from Beginners – Elite. These comps are usually your starting point. Then there are amateur competitions, generally the level of these sits at the Advanced/Elite level student and above as a rule of thumb. After amateur, it goes to semi pro and then professional. We have done our best to categorise the competitions below but please do your own research and due diligence before applying.

Floorplay Competition – amateur, semi pro and professional divisions. FYI, Floorplay is not a Pole competition. There is no appartus element but a lot of Pole Dancers enter as the style of Floorwork we teach really suits this comp.
