Open to all levels, Aerial Moves is our dance-based causal class where you will learn a variety of basic movements on, off and around the lyra or silks. Put all the movements together in a fully choregraphed routine that you will learn with your instructor. If you're a "no tricks kind of girl", and want to increase your cardio, then Aerial Moves is for you. You don't need any dance or fitness experience, you just need an open mind to dance your heart out. Open to all levels, from brand new beginners to elite!
This class is designed for new students wanting to try a aerial silks class, this is the perfect starting point. Open to beginners and students with no level of fitness or experience, you will learn 1-3 beginner silks tricks and a fun basic dance routine to finish. This casual class has been created to help you develop the strength you need to get those legs up and over and nail that straddle! Straddles are among the hardest things we teach at Aerial Divas, and they can be a real sticking point for our course students. Straddle Conditioning will teach you the tricks and techniques you need to master straddle mounts, spinning straddle mounts and more advanced straddles. This class is open to current course students only, but we recommend all Aerial Divas try it out.
Aerial Conditioning is the perfect complement to your lyra course. This strength & conditioning class will assist you with lifts, spins, and mounts essential to your lyra course and will improve your core strength, stability, and control. Suitable for all levels.
Aerial Yoga...Divas style! The fly gym is a soft material sling that hangs from the ceiling and can be used for a variety of flexibility and strengthening exercises. The support of the Fly Gym allows you to relax into deeper stretches that will assist you with your active flexibility training. Get relaxed and limber during this 60 minute full body flex class! As well as working on improving strength and flexibility you will learn some fun inversions, other aerial yoga poses and even flips! Finish it all off with a zen cocoon relaxation experience.
A fun aerial dance class designed to teach you new hoop skills and a routine! This lyra class is perfect for beginners! It covers basic strengthening and Pilates skills, along with some foundational lyra skills. You will learn 2 or 3 hoop skills in each class and put them together in combinations within a different themed routine each week. Recommended for beginners but also a great class for those experienced students who want to have a dance. Suitable for all levels. Get ready to smash your aerial goals! This practise time style class is supervised by an instructor ready to give you extra help with those nemesis tricks. Your instructor will warm up the class and assist you with whatever tricks you want to work on from your term course. Only open to students enrolled in a term course, suitable for all levels.
