Hi, I’m Lou Landers – Director of Pole and Aerial Training, Education, and Operations at Pole and Aerial Divas. I’ve been part of this incredible community since 2006 and have worn many hats along the way. From teaching my very first class in 2007 to competing professionally, judging events, and travelling the world performing and educating – this industry has shaped my life in more ways than I can count.

Over the years, I’ve become deeply passionate about instructor education and raising the standard of teaching in our industry. That’s why Divas.Ed was born – a comprehensive, industry-recognised training program created by myself, Kennetta Hutchens and an incredible team of master trainers. We’ve poured our years of experience and knowledge into developing a course that’s not only practical and inspiring but also sets you up for real-world success.

Already an instructor? Divas·Ed isn’t just for those who are new to teaching; this is your chance to upgrade your teaching toolkit.

If you’re currently teaching but haven’t had formal, accredited training, or you’re simply ready to level up – Divas.Ed is the perfect next step. The course is designed to help you refine your teaching style, deepen your understanding of safe movement and anatomy, and elevate your ability to create structured, effective, and engaging classes.

Back when I first started teaching, all our training happened in-studio. While it was solid, we’ve come such a long way. We now have the resources, research, and tools to deliver training that’s next level – and the results speak for themselves. Many of our graduates have gone on to land teaching jobs or completely transform their current teaching practice.

What to Expect

Our expert trainers guide you through the course step-by-step. You’ll finish with a final assessment that ensures you’re ready to go out and teach with confidence. We also offer a shadowing program to help you bridge the gap between course completion and real-world teaching – with support and feedback all along the way.

Whether your goal is to become a certified instructor, enhance your teaching, or deepen your knowledge as a student, Divas.Ed offers the structure, support, and inspiration to help you thrive.

We have an amazing pre learning programme that prepares you before you even step in the door, this will include watching videos of conditioning and tricks and also includes some pop quizzes.

Our student portal is an incredible detail resource, you use this and your guide throughout the course but also have access to this for life. It has a lot of demonstration videos of warmups, tricks, routines and cool downs.

We provide guidance throughout the entire course, offering calls and zoom for extra support, and also have homework requirements midway through. We run an assessment day that allows you to run through all elements of running a class, this help you prepper you for what its like to put it all together in front of your fellow classmates and trainers. Once the in-person assessment day is complete and one has passed to shadow. We have a final assessment section which requires you to submit more video demonstrations, class plans and complete a shadow program. You have three months to submit the last of your final assignments and if successful you receive a full Pole instructor accreditation.
