Kennetta Hutchens is the founder and franchisor of Pole & Aerial Divas; one of the most internationally recognised and respected names in the pole dance industry. After the success of her first studio opening in 2004, Kennetta channelled her drive and focus into creating a franchise model which encompasses all aspects of commercial success and professionalism. The result has been the creation of seven successful franchises and one company studio under the iconic brand that is Pole & Aerial Divas.

In 2011, Kennetta once again pioneered a new fitness revolution, with the launch of Aerial Divas; the world’s first dedicated Lyra and Silks studio. Today, four Pole Divas locations boast beautiful Aerial Divas studios where each student has their very own apparatus in both Lyra and Silks; which had not previously been offered in the aerial industry.

Her commitment to the continual development of the industry through support, passion and business knowledge is renowned and has proven Kennetta a pioneer and leader in the Pole & Aerial industry. She regularly speaks at industry events, and in 2016 was announced as the #1 Most Influential Pole Business Owner by the Australian Pole Dancers Magazine, and in 2022 was the very first inductee to the Australian Pole Dance Industry Hall of Fame.

We began our pole journey in 2011, first as students, then instructors, and now proud franchise owners. When it came time to open our own studio, Pole Divas was the clear choice—the brand’s success, supportive community, and ongoing mentorship gave us the confidence to take the leap.

Today, we own two thriving studios—Pole Divas Reservoir since 2019 and Pole & Aerial Divas Caroline Springs since 2023—and we’re excited to keep sharing our passion, expanding our community, and bringing the magic of Pole Divas to more women across Melbourne’s north and west.

“I began my journey with Aerial Divas at the Richmond studio back in 2013. From my very first class,I felt like I had stumbled upon something truly special. Having already had 20+ years of performance experience in predominantly womens-focused arts, I was instantly captivated by the warm, empowering atmosphere that Divas had cultivated, along with the amazing community that came with it.
 By 2015, I had taken the leap to become an Aerial Instructor, and I found immense joy in guiding students as they not only enhanced their fitness but also built their confidence, strength, and overall well-being—both mentally and physically. I knew I wanted to share that experience & joy with as many women as possible, and bringing a Divas studio out east felt like the perfect way to do it. So, in June 2022, Pole & Aerial Divas Ringwood was born.
