Here at Pole Divas we are extremely mindful of how our students are treated in the studio. Everyone is different! There are two types of students - show ponies and girls who like to keep their progress to themselves. And that's okay! We just want to make sure everyone is respected! Especially in Practice Time. We trust our students to follow the rules and regulations, this will ensure everyone is safe, happy and more importantly comfortable! See the following etiquette & rules we expect everyone to follow:
PRACTICE TIME
Please complete a thorough warm up and cool down before and after you practice. This is extremely important so you do not injure your body
Don't be afraid to use the mat - your head will thank-you later ;)
You are not to instruct any other student nor be instructed by other students in any way. You are not covered under any of Pole Divas insurance policies. This is extremely dangerous! If you need help feel free to speak to your Desk Divas or ask any instructors floating around. If you need a spot your fellow Dedicated Divas would be more than happy to spot you!
If you want to use the stereo please speak with you Desk Divas
Please ask your Desk Divas to change the poles for you from static to spin
Students are use one pole only in practice, especially when it's busy
Put everything back the way you found it - including spray bottles, spin poles or crash mats!
Don't forget to collect all your belongings after you practice
Wipe all poles once you have finished using them
Please be considerate of the students around you, especially if you are wearing 8" heels. You are sharing a space together!
Login into the DIVA HUB for all trick-lists (save some trees and look at the trick-list on your phone or tablet), you will also find photos of all tricks and videos of our graded combos. Visit your Desk Divas or look at the posters around the studio to find the login details. Simply go here and login!
FILMING
You are not to film in Practice Time UNLESS every student around you is okay with your filming. Filming students without their permission is not allowed. Filming in classes, casuals and workshops is also not allowed unless permission is given by your instructor. Each studio has a filming policy so double check with them before you pull your camera out!
