I have always admired pole dancers for their strength and grace when dancing, but was a little scared to give it a go. In 2015 after a messy break up I needed to build up my confidence so I mustered up the courage to book in for an 8 week course and really loved it! I was at this studio for about 4 months before I moved to the Peninsula and started at Pole Divas Mornington. I still remember walking in there and thinking this place is so friendly! I was nervous to move to a new studio and learn new names of tricks and meet new people, but the girls and instructors were so friendly I fit straight in! I progressed to intermediate and found one class a week just wasn’t supporting my pole addiction so I started going to practice on the weekends and a casual or workshop here and there. This boosted my confidence and increased my strength and skills!
When the Hampton studio opened in 2017 I was super keen to move over. I started spin for the first time and fell in love with its grace. I tried out all the casual classes and I just can’t pick a favourite! Pole dancing is not just a hobby, it is part of who I am. My inner diva has been let out and I am so much more confident in my own body than I used to be. When I’m dancing at the studio I feel like the best version of myself, I feel free, sexy and beautiful.
