This position requires excellent personal, administration, and sales skills to take on this leadership position of duty manager.  As social media assistant, you will also be assisting with digital content creation and maintaining our presence in our public FB page and student group, and studio Instagram profile. 

Prior sales and/or customer service experience preferred, as well as knowledge of our brand and the pole/aerial industry in general. 

This is a permanent part-time position. Studio and remote hours listed below. There will be a 6-month probationary period. 

OVERVIEW OF DUTIES 

DUTY MANAGER 

• Sales - dedication to driving sales by promoting our wide range of services and products.  This role involves direct selling of our services, by encouraging our members to engage in studio offerings, and support revenue generating activities. 

• Working towards studio targets in general and for specific promotional activities. 

• Customer service – managing enquiries, answering questions about our services, and fostering our student community.  Commitment to providing a high standard of customer care a must. 

• Overseeing daily operations and completion of daily tasks 

• Ability to work independently and efficiently with a strong drive to take on new tasks and complete them to a high standard 

• Maintain strong relationships with fellow staff and supporting Instructors 

• Monitoring employee performance 

• Ensure a safe, clean, and positive work environment 

• Regular meeting/reporting to studio manager and owner 

• Assistance in training of new Desk Divas 

• Apparatus and Rigging adjustments 

• Maintaining presentation and cleanliness of the studios, waiting areas, reception, retail space, bathrooms, and kitchen 

• Ensuring company policies and procedures are upheld 

• Communication with the Studio Manager for continuity between shifts.  Occasionally, this will involve communication when you are not on your shift. 

SOCIAL MEDIA ASSISTANT 

• This role is overseen by our HQ Marketing Coordinator.  Support and training are also provided.  However, strong knowledge of the various social media channels required. 

• Creating content for and managing the following studio social media channels.   

• Facebook student group 

• Facebook public page 

• Instagram page  

• WhatsApp 

• Must follow strict brand guidelines and language 

• A lot of content is provided by HQ to be shared at a studio level.  Some ‘studio’ based content to be created. 

• Create monthly Google calendar for social media promotions 

• Graphic creation on Canva 

• Creating and tracking paid META ads 

• Staying up to date with pole & aerial competitions which staff and students are competing 

HOURS: 

In Studio hours (all shifts include a 30 min break)

Wednesday 2pm – 10pm  

Thursday 3:30pm - 10pm 

Saturdays 8:30am - 4:15pm 

Sundays 9:30am – 3:15pm  

Occasionally work extra hours on Saturdays to host functions 

Working at studio events 

Public Holiday hours also available 

Remote hours: 

3 hours per week working from home to focus on social media 

PAY: 

Mon – Fri $29 per hour 

Sat $36 per hour 

Sun $43 per hour 

Public Holiday $70.70 per hour

What we are looking for:

• Strong pole technique as we are looking for someone to teach intermediate and above pole classes.
• Personality & dedication! Must have a friendly, fun and supportive nature.
• A strong understanding of human movement.
• Must have successfully completed a pole instructor training course or have previous pole instructing experience.
• Other qualifications in dance or fitness, or teaching experience in other genres of fitness or dance a bonus but not essential.
• Must be available to work Saturdays, and have availability to add week night shifts down the track.
